I'm Whitney. I am a suburban girl living in the smallest big city in America, San Francisco. Where I am a teacher, a lover of photography, and an avid runner. I enjoy discovering new places, but am also a total creature of habit. One of my goals in life is to make people laugh, daily, which is why I teach 1st grade... they think I'm hilarious, but really they are the funny ones.
I met my husband on match.com, which apparently has swept the nation and has become more common than before, so we are no longer unique (dang it!).
I have opinions... doesn't every one.
I occasionally binge watch shows online (how can I not when they are just there... loading one right after the next).
I have a big love for clothes on a pretty tight budget.

If I could have one wish right now, I'd wish to live on the same block as my childhood best friends.
My husband Brett and I were married this past summer (2013) in July. We love each other deeply, but I know that this is just the beginning and we are in for a lifetime of peaks and valleys. It's a good thing that I picked a good one, otherwise I'd be screwed.
Brett owns his own personal catering business, Demanding Life Foods, by day and is an Ironman by night. His idea of a nice Saturday is riding his bike for 80 miles... and maybe throw a run in there too. I respect his dedication, but I still refuse to drink that Kool-Aid. When Brett is not on his bike or taking a dip in the bay, he spends his time cooking, caring for our pup Sailor, or making me feel loved. He's definitely my ironman :).
Sailor, our pup. She's basically our four legged child and I've lobbied to be a stay-at-home dog mom, but it hasn't panned out yet. Sailor loves watching tv, acting like a 2 year old, and is pretty much an angel.
Well there you have it. I hope you come back and read my posts to get to know us a little more.
